Welcome to Phambuka, which means 'TO GIVE WAY' located just south of Ponto Du Ouro , Mozambique.

Nestled in a picturesque indigenous forest, Phambuka offers both the space and scenery for those who want absolute peace and tranquility, and a large number of activities and excursions for people looking for an active and social holiday.

Our accommodation ranges from exclusive en-suite luxury tents for the more discerning visitor to the highly popular bush tents or the spacious camping sites on the property, Phambuka offers a unique holiday experience difficult to match according to our many loyal returning visitors.

The beautiful surroundings of our Luxury tented camp, bush tents and campsites bring you back to nature. You will be struck by its beauty and tranquility. Phambuka is a nature lovers dream with quite natural bush, amazing bird life and a magnificent beach. Camping with a difference is what we offer at Phambuka, Our small, intimate operation ensures personal service second to none.

A stone's throw from the bustling town of Ponta do Ouro - Phambuka is a must for a sun drenched, carefree holiday for you to enjoy to the fullest. We have a dive charter on site with a wonderful dive centre and kit up area a short stroll from your tent. Our very hands on dive operator is the skipper, DM and dive instructor. We offer casual diving, full courses, short resort courses and dolphin trips in a very relaxed intimate atmosphere.

Luxury Tents - Camping in style

Our 3 luxury tents, which are all private, are set under the cool native trees. Each luxury tent sleeps two people in large comfortable beds with crisp white linen, double or single option available. They each have their own spacious bathroom & fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, fridge and all necessary cooking equipment and utensils. There is a dining and braai area in front of each tent. Your tent also comes with a fan, mozzie net and electric lights. Excludes towels.

Bush Tents - Camping in comfort

Our 10 bush tents are nestled discretely in the native bush. Each bush tent sleeps 2 people in comfortable single beds with linen supplied. Each tent has electric light. They have spacious communal bathrooms, showers and toilets. There is a large well equipped communal kitchen which has gas stoves, fridges and all the necessary cooking equipment and utensils. There is an open, social dining area, boma and braai area. The bush tents are ideal for Dive and social groups, friends and families.

Rondavels

There are 4 rondavels consisting of:

• 2 x 2 sleepers (2 single beds)
• 1 x 3 sleeper (3 single beds)
• 1 x 4 sleeper (1 double and 2 singles)

There is a communal equipped kitchen and 4 showers and toilets.

Camp sites - Camping your way

Our camp sites are tucked away under the trees, there is plenty of shade. The camping area is lit and has power on site.  The campsites have use of a basic communal ablution with showers and toilets. Bring your tent and all your camping gear and enjoy the beautiful, tranquility under the trees.
